Stickers can be a fun, creative and cost effective way to reinforce key security awareness learning objectives. As I have mentioned in the past, one of my favorite is Facebook's Darth Vader sticker. To help promote the idea of security awareness stickers we are kicking off the "Security Awareness Sticker Challenge". We are challenging you, the community, to help come up with ideas for the most creative and effective stickers. If your sticker ideas are selected, not only do you get international recognition and glory, but a free Securing The Human long sleeve shirt (classy collar version or moisture wicking workout shirt, your choice).
- Don't worry if you do not have graphic design skills. Simply send us a description of your idea, our graphic designers will do all the work.
- Your sticker must have a specific learning objective in mind, what behavior do you want to change? For example, with the Facebook example above, the goal is to increase the acceptance and use encryption.
- We will publicly post all the submissions we get, creating a pool of ideas that can help others create even more ideas.
- By submitting your sticker ideas, you permit The SANS Institute and any other organization to use, modify and distribute it. The goal here is to benefit the community, no good in submitting ideas if the community cannot can use them.
Submit your ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org by the Friday, 15 June. We will announce the winners on this blog on Friday, 22 June.
